Buenas Costumbres is a Latin Big Band from different countries of Latin América and Catalonia placed in Barcelona who loves plays latin sounds like cumbia, salsa, bachata, son cubano, rumba, … mixed with jazz, swing, funk, hiphop, reggae and other kind of urban sounds building their own and special sound to listen and dance everywhere for everyone to feel alive. Big Band and Dj Set is available.

Buenas Costumbres is a Latin Big Band from different countries of Latin América and Catalonia placed in Barcelona who loves plays latin sounds like cumbia, salsa, bachata, son cubano, rumba, … mixed with jazz, swing, funk, hiphop, reggae and other kind of urban sounds building their own and special sound to listen and dance everywhere for everyone to feel alive. Buenas Costumbres is the union of free souls who struggle to give back to life their due value, taken away by this society based on lies and consumerism that has trapped millions of people in order to survive and hide their hypocrisy through slavery. Each day we fight and we cure with the smile the tiredness of those who can not more of this system and seeks moments of freedom to leave the imposed schemes, to breathe freely and live of pure happiness, music and love. Las Buenas Costumbres «para que no las pierdas».

Buenas Costumbres has been playing in many radio and tv shows, clubs, public and private parties, concerts and festivals, also in docummentaries and films from 2010. Contrabanda Radio Show, Let Music Be (doc), Que la Música No Calle (doc), A Busker Journey (doc), Hotel Oasis, Centro Cultural La Violeta, Hotel Renisance, Chiringuito Mar-Cel, Harlem Jazz Club, Festa Major de La Guinaeta, Festa de la Mercé al Gotic de Barcelona, Umbría Jazz Festival, Feria Alternativa de Sevilla, Colmurano Buskers Festival, Street Theatre Festival, Barcelona Buskers Festival and many more.

Buenas Costumbres is formed by Mauricio Chavez (voice and tres cubano), Massimiliano Gentilini (electric bass, double bass), Fran Guillen (percussion and drums), Antonio Fava (percussion and congas), Alberto Calderone (high saxophone) and Ignasi Ferrer (trombone).
